What Is The SRCBM?

Transcript: The Self Reliant Community Based Model is a modular framework for the creation of communities. The SRCBM uses existing technology and incorporates many successful techniques, from all over the world, to help in its diverse design. The most important element of the SRCBM is to promote the individuals right of self determination. The SRCBM does not have any religious or moral bias. It is not the purpose of the model to impose any form of religion, or moral, bias on individuals. The SRCBM uses Permacultures principles and ethics as its basis. It also incorporates Permacultures ecological sustainability and manufacturing principles. The SRCBM is modular so as to allow for gradual incorporation of its elements into a community. Some elements of the SRCBM may not be appropriate to some areas. The modular nature of the SRCBM permits both individual and community freedom in it implementation. The present centralising of power has produced the very "all-powerful and overweening" bureaucracy that Einstein warned of in 1949. The right of individual self determination has been sold to the highest bidder and we are the lesser for it. The good news is that just as this sale has happened, so it can be reversed. That is the purpose of the SRCBM. To ensure freedom, self determination and true democracy to all the people of this our global village.
